García-Delgado Arquitectos es un estudio de arquitectura y urbanismo con sede en Palma, fundado por Carlos García-Delgado en 1972. Desde entonces ha desarrollado proyectos de vivienda, rehabilitación, planeamiento urbano y centros históricos en Mallorca, Barcelona y otras ciudades. Doctor en Ingeniería Industrial y arquitecto, ejerce su profesión desde 1972 y tiene en su haber diversos premios de arquitectura y urbanismo. Ha sido profesor de Estética y Composición y de Proyectos en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, y profesor de la asignatura Teoría de la Invención en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Barcelona. Ha redactado planes especiales para centros históricos de ciudades como Málaga o Palma. Formó parte del equipo redactor del Anillo Olímpico y del Estadio Olímpico de Barcelona, y es autor de libros como «Arquitectura tradicional de la isla de Mallorca» (1992), «La casa popular mallorquina» (1996) y «Las raíces de Palma, los mil primeros años de una ciudad» (2000). Ha publicado bajo el seudónimo de Guy de Forestier el éxito de ventas costumbrista «Queridos mallorquines», traducido a cuatro idiomas y ya en su trigésima sexta edición. Su reciente obra «El yo creativo» es fruto de sus cursos de máster y doctorado sobre el proceso creativo en laDoctor of Industrial Engineering and architect, he has practised since 1972 and has received several awards for architecture and urban planning. He has taught Aesthetics and Composition and Architectural Design at the Barcelona School of Architecture, and Theory of Invention at the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering. He has drawn up special plans for the historic centres of cities such as Málaga and Palma. He was part of the design team for the Olympic Ring and the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, and is the author of books such as «Arquitectura tradicional de la isla de Mallorca» (1992), «La casa popular mallorquina» (1996) and «Las raíces de Palma, los mil primeros años de una ciudad» (2000). Under the pseudonym Guy de Forestier he published the bestseller «Queridos mallorquines», a portrait of Mallorcan manners translated into four languages and now in its thirty-sixth edition. His recent book «El yo creativo» grew out of his master's and doctoral courses on the creative process at thePromovierter Industrieingenieur und Architekt, übt er seinen Beruf seit 1972 aus und wurde mit mehreren Preisen für Architektur und Städtebau ausgezeichnet.
